Unused spaces may be let for arts

Obsolete factories and schools that are unattended at weekends could be turned into arts venues under a preliminary proposal to promote culture.

The idea is part of a drive by the Cultural and Heritage Commission to support arts groups that have long complained of a lack of fixed locations to practise or exhibit their work.

Investment promotion proposed

The Government should do more to attract overseas investors, setting up an investment promotion body, a legislator has demanded.
