An audience with Italy's 'king of cashmere'

Looks from Bruno Cucinelli's autumn-winter 2012/13 collection.

Marco Polo can make his presence felt soon

The Caspar Fownes-trained Marco Polo showed a massive impression at long odds after thundering home to finish fourth in the Class Four Cypress Handicap (1,000m) at Happy Valley.

Rum deal: HK hotel sets a heady record

As world records go, it's not remarkably notable and probably quite breakable. Power and the glory

'Above there is heaven, below there is Suzhou and Hangzhou.' The saying, crafted by a poet several centuries ago, seems to hold true, at least in Hangzhou; according to a poll conducted recently by Oriental Outlook magazine, the capital of Zhejiang province is the happiest mainland city in which to live.
