Statue set for a move

IMAGINE moving the Eiffel Tower a few metres further to the left, or the Statue of Liberty just a little closer to Manhattan. The City of Copenhagen is considering something similar for its own iconic landmark - the Little Mermaid Statue.

Paradise regained

There are occasional slivers of glass in the sand, the water is a little murky, and there are still many boarded-up buildings - a reminder of a recent past dominated by drugs, arson and gangs. The food is as greasy and unhealthy as it gets, the sun worshippers come in all shapes and sizes - many of them obese - and their dress hardly makes for a fashion parade.

Toby tries to save mermaid and her family from danger

This is a light-hearted tale to be read when you are in the mood for something entertaining.

Young Toby was abandoned at a seaside hotel when he was a few days old and no one knows his true identity. He has been brought up by the hotel staff, and, now that he is old enough to be useful, he is used as an unpaid servant by the hotel's greedy manager.
