Rich Tapestry zipped through a dirt trial with the aim of clearing out the cobwebs before jetting out to Dubai later this week, spacing rivals by a big margin and running an impressive time to boot.

Yesterday the five-year-old claimed some high-profile scalps in the Group Two Sprint Cup and could now be headed on an overseas campaign to take advantage of the horse's dirt track ability.

Superninsky can make his mark next term
