The Boesky name lives on in post-Gordon Gekko era

Hong Kong-based fund manager Aaron Boesky can take personal heart in the Wall Street motto 'greed is healthy'. The phrase was coined by his infamous cousin Ivan Boesky, a high-flying New York financier whose fall from grace and subsequent incarceration for insider trading came to symbolise the excess of the 1980s.

HK keeps top spot on capital access index

Hong Kong is the easiest place in the world for entrepreneurs to raise capital, a US think-tank has found.

Regional rival Singapore held on to fourth place in the Milken Institute's Global Capital Access Index, released at its annual conference yesterday.
