Disgruntled parents in Shanghai have been awarded 60,000 yuan from a language school which fraudulently claimed to be linked to entertainment giant Disney, local media reported. Jiading District People's Court ordered Shanghai Dingwen Education Information Consultation Corporation, which ran the school, to repay tuition fees to the parents of eight children, Oriental Daily News reported.

60 held in swoop on IIs at flower fairs

Forty-three suspected illegal workers and 17 employers were arrested in a series of operations yesterday at Lunar New Year flower fairs.

Officers from the Labour Department, the police and the Immigration Department raided 26 stalls at fairs in Causeway Bay, Mong Kok, San Po Kong, Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Sheung Shui.

The theme park was hosting a Lunar New Year media event all afternoon with various local stars appearing for promotions, performances and activities. All aboard for lesson in Mickey Mouse English

There are many types of English usage, including the Queen's English and American English. And then there is Disney English, or at least a franchised audio and video programme for young children under the World of English series.

I love Disney cartoons. My kids pick up many English words from watching Mickey Mouse and The Little Mermaid.
