There is a huge variety of plays by actors aged four to 18, including Aladdin, The Jungle Book and Epic Fail AKA Harry Potter's Titanic Adventures in the Twilight of 2012 with the Cheerleaders of the Caribbean searching for Nemo under a New Moon with Hannah from Montana.

Gun control dead

You can imagine lots of countries where a candidate for the presidency might lie about owning a gun so as not to alienate the voters, but only in the US would he lie and say he does own a gun when he doesn't. That was Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's sin earlier this year - and he compounded it by claiming that he was a lifelong hunter.

All fired up for the weekend

While locals swing lanterns this Mid-Autumn Festival, four fire-dancers will be in action. FlameOz, comprising Dimitri Ogden from the Virgin Islands (left) and three Australians - Grace Billings, David Knox and Vanessa Tai, will give two performances each night at 7pm and 8.30pm from this evening through to Monday at Wonderful Worlds of Whampoa in Hunghom. Admission is free.

WPP Group companies Ogilvy & Mather and J Walter Thompson have combined their media operations to create MindShare. The new unit covers all facets of media from interactive to event sponsorship and has combined billings of more than $2 billion.
