Lucky Quality 14-1 chance for Golden Shaheen showdown

English bookmaking firm William Hill has posted Hong Kong sprinter Lucky Quality as a 14-1 chance to successfully take his Sha Tin form to the international stage in Dubai tomorrow night.

Brilliant American filly Indian Blessing, a member of the Bob Baffert stable, heads the market at 2-1 from Marchand D'Or (7-2), and Lucky Quality is on the sixth line of favouritism.

Wide draw takes its toll as Bullish luck finishes fifth

Bullish Luck battled on late from an impossible position to finish a creditable fifth in last night's US$5 million Dubai Duty Free, won by England's David Junior.

The turf track at Nad Al Sheba was playing with a pronounced leader bias, which immediately put the widely drawn Tony Cruz-trained Bullish Luck (gate 15) and his stablemate Russian Pearl (16) at a huge disadvantage.
