You can't but help smile inwardly as Jamie Atkinson gushes about Hong Kong, referring to the team as the 'boys'. It is quite appropriate terminology because the majority of the 14-strong squad are just that: boys. And he is one of them.

Atkinson named Hong Kong's youngest captain

Jamie Atkinson, 21, will become the youngest person to captain Hong Kong when he leads the team for the Asian Cricket Council Twenty20 Trophy in Nepal in December.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Atkinson will be at the helm of a young team with an average age of 22. Teenager Nizakat Khan was picked as vice-captain as the selectors opted for a future built on a young foundation.
