In its recent application to the Town Planning Board for approval of its master layout plan for the Staunton Street/Wing Lee Street redevelopment project, the Urban Renewal Authority created a misleading impression that buildings on Staunton Street were in a derelict condition.

MTR and tourism body put SoHo on the map

MTR chiefs and the Hong Kong Tourist Association have insisted on using the controversial 'SoHo' label to describe the trendy Central area, despite residents' and district council members' opposition.

Maps identifying the dining area as SoHo are posted at Central station, while the Tourist Association still promotes SoHo on its Web site.
