This year's Grammys may be long gone but Klaus Heymann, chairman of the Naxos group of companies, is still buzzing with excitement. At last month's awards ceremony, his classical music label won in three of the 11 categories it contested.

IP protection forum

International and local industry experts will join hands for the first time in the city to address the latest issues on intellectual property (IP) protection at a forum next week.

Experts will come from areas ranging from Naxos, a world leader of recorded classical music, to well-known film production company Mei Ah Entertainment Group.

NO longer relegated to a special section at the back of the store, classical music recordings are selling in numbers that would make most rock bands envious.

'Per capita, Hong Kong is one of the best markets in Asia for Western classical music,' said Klaus Heymann, owner of Asia's largest classical recording company, HNH.
