Teams confident as clock counts down to Super Bowl

Super Bowl 48 rivals Seattle and Denver conducted final stadium walkthroughs on Saturday, one day before they meet on the field in the National Football League championship showdown.

Coming off their last workout sessions, both teams expressed confidence in their preparations for the title clash of clubs that shared the NFL’s best record this season at 13-3.

Texans coach suffered mini-stroke

Texans coach Gary Kubiak is out of the hospital after suffering what the team said was a mini-stroke, but there’s no word on when he will resume coaching duties.

The team said the 52-year-old Kubiak suffered a transient ischemic attack at halftime of Sunday’s loss to Indianapolis. He was released from the hospital on Tuesday and is expected to make a full recovery.
