Designers and models pull out all the stops as Fashion Week gets under way

'Go big or go home' seemed to be Hong Kong Fashion Week's motto at the kick-off event on Monday at the Convention and Exhibition Centre's Grand Hall. Titled Hong Kong Fashion Extravaganza, the opening show had about 1,000 guests, lasted 45 minutes and featured four Asian stylemakers intent on knocking everyone's socks off.

Arabian classic HITS the stage

A group of junior students from NLSI Peace Evangelical Secondary School will perform the Arabian classic adventure tale Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves at the school's open days on December 17 and 18. The show is part of the open days' Tour of English Learning.
