As a work of literature, the book is a perfect representation of the angst of youth - the difficulty of connecting with people and the apparent pointlessness of existence.

Hong Kong Chinese Women's Club College

The final of the school's annual Athletic Meet was held on January 7 at Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground. The event was part of the school's 30th anniversary celebrations.

A record number of 827 athletes took part in the track and field events. Principal Wong Ming-hau officiated at the opening ceremony.

I'm not surprised. Everyone says he's a walking encyclopedia.

Miss Leung said anybody can become Einstein by reading more books.

I have a different view. Not all books are good.

I agree. Some books are poorly written and lack substance.

The mystery behind ontology

I recently came across the word 'ontology' in a computer context. I always thought ontology was part of philosophy. Is there really an area in computer science called ontology or is this some kind of academic joke? If it does exist, is it useful?

38 rewarded for service to community

Thirty-eight primary and secondary students from Hong Kong will fly to Beijing for seven days as a reward for their dedication and service to the community.

Still neutral?

SOME days ago, I visited the Yung Fung Shee Chest Clinic and discovered there were for distribution some religious giveaways of a Christian sect. I wonder if this implies a government endorsement for what is said in the publications and the credibility ofthis religion. If so, I think this hampers the Government's religious neutrality.
