Putting old people into the picture

One can never be too old to draw. Art in Hospital (AIH) is a non-profit organisation that uses art as a healing tool. Operation Santa Claus (OSC) will help AIH run 'Art Cherish - Holistic Art Workshops for Elderly Patients'. A total of 384 patients from Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital and Grantham Hospital will benefit from the scheme.

Woman dies after being hit by double decker

A 60-year-old woman on her way to a Mother's Day dinner was knocked down and killed by a Citybus double decker in Quarry Bay yesterday. She was crossing King's Road near Finnie Street at 6.50pm, heading for a nearby restaurant, where her family were waiting. The Yau Tong resident was declared dead at Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital at 7.48pm.

Jockey Club chief hurt in car crash

Recently elected Jockey Club chairman Brian Stevenson was slightly injured when his car and another collided in Tai Tam Road yesterday.

He was on the westbound section of the road and overtaking when he and the other car collided near Red Hill Peninsula at 2.20pm.
