The title and subtitle of Thomas Frank's book give you a pretty good idea of what to expect: a horrific catalogue of the tea party's hijacking of populist outrage at the crash of 2008, when audiences were invited to save their pity and their sympathy for the very architects of that crash.

Many may have thought it strange to find popular nightspot dragon-i abuzz with activity on a Sunday afternoon.

What's more, with a throng of under-age party-goers.

The Baby Loves dragon-i party on November 4 featured a bouncy castle, a funny photo booth, arts and crafts kiosks, face painters and even a balloon man.

After a night of violence when police officers were pelted with stones, bottles, tubs of flowers and even bicycles, local officials lined up to denounce those responsible and promise they would be brought to justice.
