Departing Marwing cops hefty fine and two-day ban for careless riding

Weichong Marwing revealed earlier this week that he would not re-apply for a licence next season and stewards handed him a hefty departure tax for a careless effort aboard Star Legend in the second event. Causing interference to the eventual winner Share Of Gold and Zac Purton was cause enough for the stipes to give Marwing a two-day ban and HK$35,000 fine.
