This summer, Hong Kong students can fulfil that wish. The local charity Kids4Kids is inviting all full-time students aged below 18 to take part in its 'Music for a Cause' song-writing competition.

Student photo a cut above

Matthew Leung of Christ College in Sha Tin won first prize in the Live Curious Photo Awards' student category with Classroom, a creative bird's-eye-view shot.

Matthew said he was inspired by 'Live Curious', the theme of the contest run by the National Geographic Channel, to see how ordinary settings could be viewed from another perspective.

Common problems affecting young people include exam pressure, family relationships and general adolescent problems such as low self-esteem, boredom and anti-social tendencies.

But what are the causes of these problems? The tendency to have one-child families is increasing because of parents' work pressure and also because a one-child family is easier to manage.
