Maximum stay just not long enough

I understand that it is the Government's policy to encourage residents to exercise and make use of the country parks.

This message, however, does not appear to have got through to the Transport Department, which has recently introduced paid parking with a maximum stay of two hours at the only public car park at Tai Mei Tuk.

Locals setting bad example

I was very impressed by your editorial of October 6, on how to attract tourists through a green programme to get them to visit the country parks of Hong Kong.

Being a local resident, I like to have a walk in our country parks with my children during our holidays.
