I do not know Mr Justice Power personally and have no bias for or against him. However, I wish to point out what appear to be contradictions in his interview with Cliff Buddle (Sunday Morning Post, May 2). I stand to be corrected if I am wrong.

First Ertan generator starts up

Ertan Hydro-electric Power Station is expected to produce 1.5 million megawatt-hours of electricity this year. The power plant in southwestern Sichuan - the largest generating unit in the country - began trial operations on August 12 on the first of six generators, Xinhua said yesterday. The dam's second generator would start operating in November, Xinhua said.
