US nudists fight for the right to bare everything

US federal judges are accustomed to seeing lawyers and their clients dressed crisply in dark suits. This week brought something new: naked plaintiffs.

On Wednesday, a group of several dozen nude protesters and their clothed lawyer marched to the federal court in San Francisco to file a lawsuit against the city.

Decent exposure

NOBODY (that has tried it) can deny the pleasure of basking naked in the sun, or skinny dipping on a deserted beach. Yet many people today still recoil at the idea of a nudist holiday, associating it with lewd old men or mistaking it for the 'adult-only' swingers' scene.

Rules to limit behaviour of Olympics spectators

Organisers of the Beijing Olympics have banned people from running nude - or streaking - in a series of detailed rules on spectator behaviour released yesterday.

The 22 restrictions and four prohibitions also bar spectators from taking in banners or leaflets supporting commercial, environmental, religious, political, military, and human rights causes, among others.

There's nothing wrong about being nude and it's not illegal. But that doesn't justify having a nudist camp.

Being nude isn't wrong, but why should nudists get exclusive rights? Our islands and remote areas are something we're trying to preserve.

Nudists' naked ambition to set up camp on a Sai Kung island

Hong Kong's biggest nudist group will present a proposal to the Sai Kung District Council today asking to set up a camp on one of the islands in the area.

The Body Arts Association believes it is time Hong Kong nudists had their first such venue to enjoy outdoor activities without interference or discrimination.
