Solas bar is boxing clever with lure of beer, pizza and video games

What's better than drinking beer and playing video games at home? How about going out to drink beer and play video games? Solas bar on Wyndham Street will be the site of a virtual boxing bout tomorrow from 5pm to 9pm. It's the first event of its kind in town but, according to organiser Alexa Towersey, this is the hottest new happy hour idea since salty peanuts.

Call for pugilists of the property game to don the gloves for charity

Last November, they convinced a bunch of finance types to slug it out for charity (right). Now, the same organisers are hoping to put together a similar event for people from the property sector.

Ironmonger Events has put out a call to arms for people in real estate willing to battle it out in a pugilistic competition against a colleague in the field.
