In humid places such as Hong Kong, wallpaper is prone to peeling and watermarks, and stains become visible so it's wise to get expert advise before going ahead with any decorating plans.

The big march could be on the move earlier than planned

The mass rally tomorrow could begin earlier than advertised as police want to get the marchers moving as soon as 50,000 people arrive, to prevent a large backlog forming near Victoria Park.

The march is scheduled to start at 3pm and organisers estimate it will attract 300,000 people. But the park, the starting point of the demonstration, can hold only about 115,000 people.

Updated at 3.51pm: Police Commissioner Dick Lee Ming-kwai said it was not feasible for this year's July 1 protest march to end at Central Government Offices (CGO), local media reported on Wednesday.
