Rethink flawed move to evict Montessori

Developers surpass sales targets for year

Property sales among major mainland developers have exceeded expectations this year.

The latest example of the nation's robust real estate market came from Beijing Capital Land, which said its accumulated contracted sales from January to November totalled 1.01 million square metres worth 10.6 billion yuan (HK$12.03 billion), or 132 per cent of its target this year.

The real estate market in the Zhuhai Special Economic Zone has emerged from the doldrums with brisk trading since the beginning of this year.

Housing transactions in the Pearl River Delta city in the first half of the year involved 682,400 square metres worth 1.88 billion yuan (about HK$1.74 billion), soaring 151 and 138 per cent respectively over last year.
