Mystery Samaritan saves 100 dogs' lives

One hundred abandoned dogs are to be moved from Hong Kong to a new home in the New Territories today after a mystery benefactor saved their lives by temporarily donating a house and garden for them to live in.

Workers needed for dirty job to rescue kennels in major canine cleanup

Sally Andersen, of Hong Kong Dog Rescue, is up to her neck in dog poop. No, not literally. But the animal caretaker is at her wits end trying to keep her Pok Fu Lam Kennels in shape. She sent out a mass e-mail on Tuesday attempting to recruit cleaners to work at the site, where 120 abandoned dogs (they started with six) are housed.
