Although I don't enjoying curbing anyone's fun, I would like to lodge a complaint about the war games that take place every weekend at the peak of Mount Davis in Pokfulam.

Police net imitation firearms and pellets

Ten imitation guns and about 2,000 plastic pellets were seized from an office in Cen tral yesterday.

The haul came after a photographer was arrested in connection with the planting of a smoke grenade outside a studio this week.

Legal action on toy air guns

A proposed tightening of firearms laws will make the offensive use of low-velocity toy air guns a crime.

If legislators agree to the planned changes, toy air gun owners will no longer be able to shoot at windows and property with near impunity.

Currently, air gun owners can only be prosecuted if they wound someone or damage property, and a complaint is made.

POLICE authorities have admitted that the management of guns is still a problem although 390,000 guns have been confiscated in the past two years.

Illegal gun manufacturing remains serious in some regions and gun trafficking is still a major headache for Chinese public security despite continuous efforts to crack down on the problems.
