A THAI maid fell 37 floors to her death after she tied a piece of nylon rope around her waist and tried to lower herself down from a roof onto the balcony of a locked flat.

The tragedy occurred after Downnoa Deelee, 30, discovered that she had locked herself and her employer's 63-year-old mother out of the luxury flat in Beverly Hills estate, So Kon Po.

A NOTHER victim of the Carrian saga was prominent Hongkong lawyer John Wimbush.

He was found dead in the swimming pool at his Coombe Road home on The Peak on April 13, 1984.

A nylon rope was tied around his neck and the other end was attached to a concrete manhole cover.
