Trip to Kathmandu

The Rotaract Club of Victoria is organising a five-day trip to Nepal to help Hong Kong's youngsters learn more about the South Asian country's street children and to distribute gifts to them.

Asian trip aids understanding

A trip to Malaysia and Singapore gave students from Chinese University of Hong Kong a better understanding of life in those countries.

The cultural exchange visit by 30 members of the Rotaract Club of Chung Chi College was co- sponsored by Rotary Club of the New Territories and the Quality Activities Award Scheme of Chung Chi College.

Youth charity clubs aid dream of helping needy

Members from Rotaract Clubs throughout Hong Kong met the president of Rotary International to share their experiences of serving the community.

Rotary International President James Lacy said local youths were helping fulfil his dream of helping the needy.

Rotaract ralies to aid blind

Four college Roteract Clubs will be raising funds to help blind people and heighten public awareness of the problems faced by the blind.

Clubs at Baptist University, Chung Chi College, Hong Kong University and Lingnan College have organised a fund-raising programme for Orbis International called 'Gift of Sight, Glare of Hope'.
