Never was so much bureaucracy employed with so little effect

Where's the uniqueness?

The Sai Kung District Management Committee clearly has too much time on its hands. Statistics needed on Sai Kung break-ins. Photo: Edward Wong

I read with shock the news that the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Hong Kong is axing the HK$500 a month it currently pays out to refugees. How can this be? Is the UNHCR broke?

Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying has not been given a chance to do his job. Photo: Felix Wong

I am very disappointed with most of the crooked logic deployed in the criticism of Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying's official clarification of the unauthorised structures at his Peak home.
