Three injured making drugs arrest

An off-duty policeman suffered injuries to his forehead and right leg when he lost control of his car and slammed into a tree on the San Tin Highway in Lok Ma Chau early yesterday. The 25-year-old constable aws taken to North District Hospital where he was treated and discharged. His female passenger was unhurt in the incident.

Eighteen hurt

Eighteen people aged from 20 to 56 were hurt when a minibus, a car and two goods vehicles collided in the Sheung Shui-bound lane of San Tin Highway, Yuen Long, near Mai Po Lung.

PLA four hurt after Jeep in collision with coach

Four PLA officers were hurt when their vehicle careered down a slope and overturned after a collision with a coach in Lok Ma Chau yesterday.

The coach, carrying seven workers from Yuen Long to Tai Po, hit a traffic sign in the accident and a 49-year-old passenger sustained minor head injuries.
