Small wonder

Dior's Christal Mysterieuse was a hit last year with its artsy dial and electromechanical movement. This year, the brand has released smaller versions of the mysterious watch.

The new 38mm models come in a standard version, with a black alligator strap, and a jewelled version, with a bracelet, limited to 200 pieces each.

Desire by Mandy Lau

Who created it? Desire by Mandy Lau was started by the eponymous local designer in 1989. Having created unique jewellery pieces for more than 20 years, Lau finds inspiration during extensive travels around Asia, Europe and the United States. Although a self-taught designer, she credits the artisans she has met around the world for helping her fine-tune her craft.
