Paws for thought

Hi again my friends!

It's almost Christmas, but there's no sign of a Christmas tree in team YP's office. What to do? (Apart from nagging the editors to do something about it.)

At least winter is here. As I see everyone wrapped up in scarves and caps 'n' gloves, it's hard to imagine that just a few weeks ago I was tanning my tummy on a shark boat.

Stewards' decision muddies the picture

Since protests became flavour of the month, the stewards have at last provided us with some grist for the mill. If you and your pet are feeling groovy, head to Woofstock

My wife and I never much like joining animal festivities with our four dogs. Those events are supposed to be fun and relaxing. But alas we never do because our ill-trained dogs respond to nature's call at the most inopportune times and places and you never know how other dogs, their owners and especially security guards might react. We usually end up more stressed out.

Woman bitten by rat in Central alley

It was a case of the Central Rat Race minus the costumes and laughs yesterday afternoon when a rat nipped a Briton's ankle and scurried away, leaving the woman in tears.

The woman, wearing flip-flops, was bitten at 1.15pm while waiting for a friend who was visiting a cobbler in an alley in Pedder Street near a Central MTR exit.

Simple solutions to keep your animals safe and sound this summer

Some days you accidentally lock yourself out of your flat. Or you completely forget it's your best friend's birthday. The consequences might be annoying, but they won't cause any serious harm.
