Singh replaces Tait at Sixes tournament

Indian seamer R.P. Singh will join compatriot Piyush Chawla in the Woodworm All Stars team for the Karp Group Hong Kong Sixes, which gets under way at Kowloon Cricket Club on Friday.

Left-armer Singh is a last-minute replacement for Australian spearhead Shaun Tait, who has pulled out with an injury.

Big-hitters on board for Sixes

Hong Kong Sixes organisers have pulled off a coup by signing the world's most prolific hitters of sixes - Shahid Afridi and Sanath Jayasuriya. Now they are targeting a third swashbuckling superstar - West Indian Chris Gayle.

It will be non-stop action with Afridi and Jayasuriya signing up for the All-Stars at next month's Karp Group Hong Kong Sixes at Kowloon Cricket Club.

Jones steps in after Afridi is forced to pull out of Hong Kong Sixes

Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Afridi has pulled out of the World All-Stars team for this weekend's sold-out Cathay Pacific/Standard Chartered Hong Kong International Sixes.

Afridi is involved in the one-day series against South Africa, and had informed organisers of his unavailability. He will be replaced by former England wicketkeeper Geraint Jones.
