A surveillance camera photograph of a suspected sex attacker was the only clue police had to work with after a 12-year-old schoolgirl was indecently assaulted on the roof of an old building in Sham Shui Po.

Sick woman and son die in family tragedy

A bedridden woman and her son, who quit his job about 10 years ago to take care of her, died in a family tragedy.

They were found unconscious in their flat in Sham Shui Po and declared dead in hospital.

Crime squad officers are investigating whether foul play was involved in the death of the 76-year-old woman and her 56-year-old son.

Police appeal for information

Police have appealed for help after a girl went missing in Tung Chau Street Park, Sham Shui Po, yesterday morning. Leung Wai-ho (pictured), aged two, is about 0.6 metres tall and weighs about 18kg. She was last seen wearing a blue long-sleeved polo shirt, long beige pants and red slippers. People who may have seen her can call Sham Shui Po police station on 2360 7213 or any police station.

Missing nine-year-old boy located

Updated at 5.34pm: A nine-year-old boy, who went missing over the weekend at Sham Shui Po, was located on Tuesday, a police spokesman said.

Wu Man-kin was reported missing by his family after he left his home in Pei Ho Street, Sham Shui Po about 2 pm on Saturday.
