Miners' shares hit after blast kills 28

Shares of coal miners fell yesterday after China ordered the suspension of production at coal mines in the southwestern province of Sichuan following a mine explosion that killed at least 28 workers.

Shares in Hong Kong-listed fashion house Prada fell 3.4 per cent to close at HK$76 on Friday amid concerns that investors trading the stock might have to pay a new Italian government tax from next month.
