Judge rejects murder count against trio

A judge yesterday found that three men accused of taking part in the fatal bashing of a party crasher in Chai Wan two years ago had no case to answer.

Chan Wai-yip, So Kwai-keung, and Cheung Man-on, aged 17 to 29, had pleaded not guilty in the Court of First Instance to murder over the bashing to death of 22-year-old Wong Siu-ngai on the night of September 18, 2005.

Top runners to take on region's best
