A 96-year-old former engineer will become the city's oldest recipient of an honorary doctorate.

Ng Wing-hong will receive his honorary degree from Polytechnic University (PolyU) on October 29.

Funeral set for IT boss killed in mystery attack

The funeral of Yu Sze-ching, 44, head of Wen Wei Po's information technology department, will be held at the weekend. Yu died on Saturday from head injuries after being found lying in Shek Kong Airfield Road, Pat Heung, on Thursday night.

He was bludgeoned and his hands and legs had been tied with nylon string. The motive for the attack remains unknown.

Attack victim tied and dumped

A man suffering serious head injuries was found with his head bound in tape, and his hands and legs tied on a quiet path near Sek Kong Airfield Road in Pat Heung.
