What changed and why

Besides the cuts and the slight reordering of events - apologies to Sandra for all of that - the main change in my version is in Harrison's behaviour towards Cordia.

He is now insulting to her on a couple of occasions. This gives her good reason to dislike him as a person, even before he reveals himself to be a would-be murderer and dictator of the world.

Parents turn children into spoiled brats

During the summer holidays I did some voluntary work looking after young children. It was a hot day and by the end tempers flared.

One young boy complained that he was hot. 'Where is the air-conditioner?' he moaned.

I tried to comfort him. 'Don't you feel the gentle breeze from the mountain,' I said.

Couple tied up, gagged in $1m raid on home

Raiders tied and gagged a couple when they broke into a luxury home and stole $1 million in cash and valuables early yesterday.
