'Monkey King' acquitted

Polytechnic University student Shu Yee-fat, 25, was acquitted of indecently assaulting a nurse at Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital on April 19. Mr Shu's fever, which led him to imagine he was the mythical 'Monkey King', had created behaviour that was out of character, Eastern Court magistrate Lambert Lee Ka-chai ruled.

Teenager acquitted

A FAST-FOOD shop worker who was alleged to have robbed residents of a block of flats after blindfolding the caretaker was yesterday acquitted in the High Court.

Deputy Judge Wong discharged Shu Man-shun, 19, after he was found not guilty by a jury on one count of false imprisonment and two of robbery.
