Students strike gold in maths Olympiad

Five students won a gold medal, two silvers and two bronze, the best result a Hong Kong team has achieved in three years, at the 50th International Mathematical Olympiad in Germany. Ching Tak-wing took gold; Kenneth Hung Ka-kin and Lam Cho-ho each won a silver; and Chung Ping-ngai and Ng Ngai-fung each won a bronze. A total of 565 contestants from 104 countries took part.
