I want an English exam do-over

I'm a Form Six student now and I have decided to retake English in the coming HKCEE.

I made the decision because I think my results left a lot to be desired.

Don't compare yourself to others

I'm a Form Two student and I'm not very happy.

My classmates are brighter than me. They always talk about studies and homework, which makes me feel uncomfortable.

When I want to play with them during recess or lunchtime, they are always busy doing their schoolwork. This means I have to play with students from other classes.

A wonderful English teacher

My English teacher, Mrs Lee, is wonderful. She is kind and her English is good. Her teaching is fun and she puts in a lot of effort.

Mrs Lee cares about us and wants us to improve. She teaches us to be polite and she helps people who are in need. She also teaches us to be attentive.

School hits high notes in celebration

SKH Lam Kau Mow Secondary School celebrated its special anniversary in grand style.

From scriptwriting, composing and choreography to backstage production, almost 200 students, teachers and alumni produced an epic musical entitled Our Story to celebrate the school's 25th anniversary earlier this month.

School rules 'offer guidance'

Graduates at SKH Lam Kau Mow Secondary School were asked to reflect upon a controversial topic - 'Do school rules infringe human rights?' - at the school's 9th speech day held recently.

Guest-of-honour Timothy W. H. Ha, the principal of St Paul's College, discussed this issue with the students. He said it was the topic of a seminar he had recently attended.

GRADUATES of SKH Lam Kau Mow Secondary School were advised to blend the five elements of education - the moral, intellectual, physical, social and aesthetic aspects - in order to give themselves a full and rewarding life.
