Office landlords Sino Land and South China Holdings plan to release 11 floors in their jointly owned commercial tower The Centrium for sale - a new choice for investors.

Sources said the companies have appointed Jones Lang LaSalle as the agent for the strata sale of the floors. Neither Sino Land nor South China would comment.

Clarification

In a report on October 10 headlined 'Playboy tycoon declared bankrupt', we reported that South China Holdings and Louis Lo Siu-fai had been sued by Vast Harbour Engineering Company for $1.1 million. The company which was sued was South City Holdings Limited and not South China Holdings. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to South China Holdings.

Jessica shares allotted

Placing shares in Jessica Publications have conditionally been allotted or transferred to 16 investors, with the largest investor subscribing for 31.59 per cent of the placement to raise HK$12.66 million. The top five placees accounted for 90.82 per cent of the placing shares. The firm said yesterday investors should be aware that the concentration of shareholders may affect liquidity.

Four Seas gets its licence back

Travel agency Four Seas Travel International's licence to operate as a travel agent has been re-instated by the Government. The company said it hoped to resume 'business as usual' soon. Four Seas is now controlled by South China Holdings.
