How to Get there

Barring a taxi or your own wheels, there is no direct transport to Horizon Plaza, but plenty of buses will get you most of the way, stopping at the Ap Lei Chau Estate bus terminus, from where you can catch the free Horizon Plaza shuttle bus daily.

Blind school's plan for luxury estate rejected

The Town Planning Board yesterday rejected an initial application by the city's only school for the blind to turn its campus in Pok Fu Lam into a low-rise luxury residential estate.

The Ebenezer School wants to move all its facilities to another location, yet to be determined. It currently has about 80 pupils and also has an old people's home for the visually impaired.

Terror as brakes fail on tour bus

A tour bus carrying 29 Indian tourists crashed through a barrier and rolled down a slope into a cargo container in Aberdeen after its brakes failed yesterday. Nine tourists, their guide and the driver were treated at Ruttonjee and Queen Mary hospitals. All were discharged except the driver and a woman, 22, who were in stable condition. The accident occurred on Nam Fung Road at about 4pm.

Cheuk Nang seeks to boost cash flow by selling 16 flats at Villa Cecil

Cheuk Nang (Holdings), a small developer owned by Cecil Chao Sze-tsung, hopes to pocket about HK$800 million by selling 16 luxury flats at its eight-year-old Villa Cecil II to relieve some pressure on cash being tied up by its One Kowloon Peak project in Ting Kau.
