Friendly competition is the name of the game for Chan Tsing-hong and Pang Oi-ling, who have been running their side-by-side news-stands in Portland Street, Kowloon, for more than a decade.

Now the hard-working 65-year-olds have been told to move on because of nearby building renovations, with no promise of a return.

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department has stepped up security at a Stubbs Road lookout point in Mid-Levels after Cable TV reported that some people had run illegal commercial photo-taking services for tourists there. Lloyd still laughing despite nasty tumble

STAR South African jockey Jeff Lloyd was seen at his consummate best on his way to a 200-1 double at Sha Tin yesterday.
