Show opens doors for new generation of designers

WORLD BOUTIQUE, Hong Kong, which runs concurrently with Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter, marks its fifth edition at next week's trade fair. Diary a work of art for costume stylist

Joining the rank of celebrities turned authors at this year's book fair is designer Henry Lau Chi-wah (pictured). The local stylist has put together a diary of sorts, chronicling his 10 years as the founder of fashion brand Spy and costume designer to numerous Canto artists, such as the late Anita Mui Yim-fong, Denise Ho Wan-sze and Hacken Lee.

Fashion show tees off

The latest fashion collections by local designers previewed yesterday at the China Tee Club, marking the soft launch of the third World Boutique. Organised by the Hong Kong Trade and Development Council, World Boutique is a fashion fair set to feature over 200 brands from all over the world and will run between January 18 and 21, concurrently with Hong Kong Fashion Week.
