Cruise ship company should clean up its act

I am fortunate to live in an apartment in Mid-Levels with a panoramic view over the harbour and Kowloon. However, particularly at weekends, this view is regularly marred by the plume of blue smoke rising from the Star Cruise ships moored at Ocean Terminal.

President and chief executive of Malaysia-based Star Cruises Eddy Lee has resigned 'for personal reasons', with his post being taken over by Colin Au, the company said.

Star is owned by the Lim family, which also owns the Genting casino and leisure group.
