Dandy & Dapper

I was going through old family photos and was reminded of my Dad's old safari suits. I'm thinking this would be perfect for the Hong Kong summer. What do you recommend?

Well suited for success no matter what the era

As a tailor for more than 30 years in Hong Kong, Fong Leung-fai needed to speak English, since most of the customers who came to his shop for suits were westerners. But in recent years, he has had to learn Putonghua to serve big-spending mainlanders.

Stylish and vibrant

From prints and pleats to neutrals and neons, spring/summer fashion is bursting with fresh styles to suit everyone, from the conservative to the avant-garde. It also marks the return of colour with vibrant shades of orange and yellow mixed with soft pastels and ocean-inspired blues and greens.

No pain and a lot to gain

Comfort and ease may not spring to mind when one thinks of fashion.

With Karl Lagerfeld losing roughly 42kg to fit into skinny jeans by Hedi Slimane in 2001, and hordes of women nipping and tucking into corsets while teetering on stiletto heels, is it possible to dress to impress without feeling starved, squeezed and tortured? Apparently so.
