Angland believes Dr Super has stamina to go further

It's pretty much all duck or no dinner with Dr Super, but the big three-year-old got it right to grab his fourth win for the term yesterday and kept things ticking over for champion trainer-in-waiting John Size.

Dr Super a trooper in muddy conditions

Dr Super didn't let the atrocious conditions at yesterday's Sha Tin all-weather track trials stop him from stretching his enormous legs, the gargantuan gelding one of the impressive John Size-trained runners to slog through the mud.

Three-year-old gets his way again after hitting the front

'I've been lucky on him - every time I ride Dr Super, they leave him alone,' laughed jockey Jeff Lloyd after the John Size-trained three-year-old took race seven, leading all the way for the second time in two pairings with Lloyd. And Size agreed. 'When he has been beaten, like his last run, it's because they've made him work too hard to get the lead,' Size said.

Going 'Superwoman'

When Hong Kong people think about wakeboarding, most of them see it as an activity you do on holiday or on a summer boat trip. But it is much more than just a leisure sport.

Weighing in at well over 1,300 pounds and heading to the tight-turning circuit for the first time, Dr Super railed like a greyhound for Jeff Lloyd over 1,200m.

Middle pin the key to triple trio hopes

A pair of horses screaming out for a mile and drawn in the bottom two gates can form the spine of selections in the middle leg of the Triple Trio at Sha Tin on Sunday.

David Hall's Medallist and the David Ferraris-trained Theheroinmyheart step up to 1,600m for the first time at their fourth starts and their eye-catching lead-up efforts indicate a readiness for the trip.

Angland, Dr Super give Size a 'huge' lift

It seems the 1,300-pound plus Dr Super and towering jockey Tye Angland, who is close to six foot tall, were a perfect combination.

'It was the biggest jockey and biggest horse in Hong Kong combined,' Angland joked after a front-running display on the John Size-trained gelding in a Class Four (1,400m).
