An address in the elite enclave known as the Northern CBD (Central Business District) - home to billionaires, celebrities and leaders of state - is a sign that the owner has 'made it'.

View at top of bridge takes your breath away

SOMEONE ONCE ASKED Sir Edmund Hillary, the first man to climb the highest mountain in the world, why he had done it. His reply was straight to the point. He said he had climbed Mount Everest simply because it was there. I know how he felt. Some of my friends have asked me why I climbed Sydney Harbour Bridge. Why would anyone want to do that?

Suitor's proposal stymied by name

A BRITISH woman has refused her boyfriend's proposal of marriage because he changed his name to Sydney Harbour-Bridge.

Jacqueline Scott, 26, does not want to become Mrs Harbour-Bridge.

Sydney, who refuses to reveal his original name, changed his name by deed poll five years ago to raise about $20,000 for the charity Comic Relief.
