HK on course for Cup challenge

Two syndicates have dropped out, but Hong Kong is still in the campaign for the America's Cup as another deadline for the challengers expired on Saturday.

The Hong Kong-based syndicate challenging for yachting's most coveted prize in New Zealand in 1999 and 2000, is among a record 16 syndicates from 10 countries who passed Saturday's 'performance bond' deadline.
